Richard J. Ladon, 88. Beloved husband of Joan, nee Ovson; devoted father of Kathleen (Patrick) Dean, Laura (Michael) Ellis, and Wendy (Aaron) Haller; proud grandfather of Emily, Melissa, and Molly Dean, Nathaniel and Benjamin Ellis, and William and Kevin Haller; cherished brother of the late Lois (late Harold) Greenblatt; caring uncle of many. He will be missed by his long-time colleague Cheryl Morris.
Richard was a lawyer and CPA who owned his own firm in Chicago, Illinois for many years. He loved reading, gardening, and building things, but he was happiest playing golf.
Friends and family will gather for a funeral service Monday, March 27th, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Weinstein & Piser Funeral Home, 111 Skokie Boulevard, Wilmette, Illinois. Interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, 9900 Gross Point Road, Skokie, Illinois. Shiva will follow the interment at the funeral home.
