It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rina Marta Aguirre, who departed this life on July 1, 2026, in Chicago. She was 80 years old and passed peacefully, surrounded by the love and company of her daughter in her final moments.

Rina was a woman of intellect and grace, having dedicated her professional life to the care of others as a pharmacist. Beyond her professional achievements, she was a person of deep passions. She held a lifelong love for the art of ballet, but it was her profound devotion to animals that truly defined her kind heart. Whether she was caring for a creature in need or simply enjoying the company of her beloved pets, she found immense joy in the animal world.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, survived by her two children, Judith and Mariano, her daughter-in-law Ana Lara, her son-in-law Bill, and her five grandchildren, Matias, Julian, Federico, James, and Noah, who will forever cherish her memory.

Rina will be returning home to Buenos Aires this December, where she will be laid to rest alongside the love of her life, Lito. Though she is no longer with us, she is finally back where her heart has always belonged.

Rina fue una mujer de intelecto y gracia, que dedicó su vida profesional al cuidado de los demás como farmacéutica. Más allá de sus logros profesionales, fue una persona de profundas pasiones. Sentía un amor de toda la vida por el ballet, pero fue su profunda devoción por los animales lo que realmente definió su corazón bondadoso. Ya fuera cuidando a un animal necesitado o simplemente disfrutando de la compañía de sus queridas mascotas, encontraba una inmensa alegría en el mundo animal.

Ella deja un legado de amor; le sobreviven sus dos hijos, Judith y Mariano, su nuera Ana Lara, su yerno Bill y sus cinco nietos, Matías, Julián, Federico, James y Noah, quienes atesorarán su memoria por siempre.

Rina regresará a casa, a Buenos Aires, este diciembre, donde descansará junto al amor de su vida, Lito. Aunque ya no está con nosotros, finalmente ha vuelto a donde su corazón siempre perteneció.
