Robert H Frankenbush

Robert "Bob" Frankenbush age 90 of both Northbrook , IL and Summerland Key FL. Beloved husband and constant companion to Sandy ( nee Poster) for 68 years. Loving father to Lori (Thomas) Breunig, Mike (Melissa), and Suzi ( Marty ) Kinczel; dear Papu to Jennifer Breunig, Ian (Mina) Breunig, Sami Frankenbush, Jake and Lena Kinczel and great grandfather to Kaden. He was also the brother to the late Lois ( late Irv) Turim.Uncle to Marc (Patty) Turim and Ricky (Deanne) Turim.

Born in Chicago, Bob grew up in the Austin neighborhood and attended Austin High School. He then attended University of Illinois, Bradley University, and then graduating from Roosevelt University. He took over the family business becoming the owner of Otto Frankenbush Inc. and Baron Wire and Cable. He retired in 1995 and from that time forward he spent most of his time fishing and spending time with his family.

A Memorial Service will be held at Weinstein Piser Funeral Home, 111 Skokie Blvd. Wilmette, IL on Tuesday October 20, 2026 at 2:00pm. Shiva will be held on Tuesday at The Frankenbush Residence until 8:30 pm and again on Wednesday from 5:00pm until 8:30pm.

Memorials may be made to the Heartland Animal Shelter in Wheeling , IL
