“Can I tell you…” How I will miss our weekly calls with her “Can I tell you….” entrance into any topic.  And, boy did we have topics!  We spatted, discussed, laughed and shared. She nicknamed me “Sis”….because we trusted each other with our hearts.   My story about Rona is about an accidental friendship of an Italian Catholic Girl and a Jewish Girl who were introduced over the phone (by her brother Bruce) ….and that phone call started a cherished friendship.  I was sad when she moved to Utah, but, that didn’t stop our conversations and calls one bit.  We found so many common veins in our lives, specifically in family.  We could talk for hours and hours, and interjected in our conversations, she would have a “Can I tell you moment” that would start next conversation…she had a great infectious laugher that would just make me smile.    I miss my friend.  I have learned by watching  Rona love Luke, how to love unconditionally. She was an amazing mother.  I look forward to the day, that I can here her say again, “Can I tell you…..” Thank you Rona for being my friend, CarolAnn

I am saddened and so surprised to hear of Rona's passing.  She was a dear, sweet friend.  My God bless Luke and your whole family during this sad time.

I met Rona two years ago while she was walking her dog and have had the pleasure of being her friend. She was also a regular customer at smiths who will be dearly missed by myself and all of the employees at smiths. our thoughts and prayers are with her son amd family.  we will miss your infectious personality and humor.

Dear Buzil family, Rona's wonderful spirit will be missed by all of us in Salt Lake City.  She was a dear neighbor and friend.  Luke is in our heart and we all pray for peace for him and Rona's family.

I spoke with Rona for the first time this time last year and because of her infectious energy, we became fast friends.  I was honored to support her as she advocated for Luke's education and learned much from her along the way.  I am sad our friendship was so short.  I will always keep Luke in my thoughts and prayers.  It was such a pleasure to know Rona.  I will miss her!

Rona was a dear friend.  I will truely miss her fun personality and our conversations together. We have worked together for many years but we always had a great friendship as well as the work relationship. Luke was her life. and she was totally devoted to him. I will miss her very much!  Rona I will think of you often and will hold you dear to my heart. I'm sure you have found the peace that you deserve.

Rona was a friend and a neighbor of mine here in Salt Lake City.  She was always so kind and generous to us.  We enjoyed having dinner with her and her son and she was always so great to talk to.  She was always so nice to my young kids. We were really shocked when we heard that she had passed away.  I hope that her son will be loved and looked after.  We miss you Rona!  We hope and pray that your soul is at peace.
