I had the pleasure of meeting Roslyn 9 years ago today and thought “I should really call her to say hi.” So as I pulled up her name, I was saddened to see her passing. From the time we met, I could tell she had such a great heart and amazing soul. The way she spoke of her children and their importance in her life what was all of us hope for. 

Peace be with you. I will never forget our random happenstance of meeting, Roslyn. 

Here’s what I shared 9 years ago today: 

Today's tour was full of amazing Chicago history. It was a little long (2.5 hours) but really good! I met a lady who's a retired Hyatt executive in her upper 80s. She lived in 4 countries and was telling me awesome stories! As she told me about China, she said "I'll just tell you. He's (Carl) MUCH younger and wouldn't know." Of course I have her number. She was FABULOUS!
