Roslyn Platt Menaker, 106, of Chicago, IL, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024. She is a loving mother, and a loyal and generous friend. She was in love with life and lived each day passionately.
Roslyn is survived by her loving children Judy (Richard) Perlman, Harlan (Margie) Platt, and Craig (Yosefa) Platt; caring grandchildren Matthew Perlman, Justin (Iza) Perlman, Stephanie (Travis) Cowen, Leah (Ranan) Boustan, Sarah (Michael) Beland, Jesse (Yusan) Platt, Etai Matisyahu Platt, Nevo Platt, and Avishai Platt; treasured great-grandchildren Gil Boustan, Haskell Boustan, Mira Boustan, Eleanor Beland, and Luca Perlman; cherished sisters Izzy (late Mort) Case and Bobbie (late Harry) Pfeifer; and loving companion of 13 years Gigi (Terry) Murphy and Joy. Roslyn was preceded in death by her beloved husbands Dr. Matthew Platt and Dr. Gerald Menaker; devoted parents Jack and Pearl Clair, and adoring sisters Charlotte (late Harry) Goldfarb and Lillian (late Art) Simon. She will be missed by many friends and family.
Graveside service Wednesday, October 30, 3PM at Westlawn Cemetery, 7801 W Montrose Ave, Norridge, IL 60706. Service will be livestreamed.
