"Aunt Ruth" has many special memories to the kids that grew up on Hartzell St.. She was a best friend to our Mom and treated all of us as important individuals.
Our thoughts, prayers, and love are with you all.

Aunt Ruth you will be missed. When I was young you helped me out by being a very protective neighbor and rescuiing me from a 'stranger'. Our thoughts & prayers are with your whole family, especially to Jane & Sue. With our deepest sympathy, Sharon Rose Cummings & my husband, Jerry & our son William and our daughter Ruth.

Ruth was pure lovliness. She had such a great sense of humor and youthful spirit about her. She made such a warm, loving, pretty home and gardens and made people FEEL so at home when they were with her. Her Christmas cards were always among my very favorites because of her sensitive, artisitic taste. I know that if we hadn't been 40 years apart in age we would have been best girlfriends! As it is, Tim and I were fortunate to live behind them in Evanston for 6 years and then be forunate enough to buy their home on Hartzell Street, Ruth's Love House. Her bright spirit will be greatly missed in this world! Meg and Tim Metzler
