Salvador Samaniego, age 84, of Skokie, Illinois. Beloved husband of the late Marina Samaniego; loving father of Marina (Kevin) Sterner, Amelia Katz and Michael (Tina) Samaniego; proud grandfather of Maddie, Adam, Sam, Jessica, Emma and Rebecca; caring godfather of Stephanie; kind brother of Fidelia, Manuel, Ernesto and eight late siblings.
Family and friends will gather from 9:30 a.m., Friday, September 15, 2023 until the time of the funeral mass 10:30 a.m. at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 524 9th Street, Wilmette, Illinois. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery.
