Samantha Leigh Brooks

Our beloved Samantha Leigh Brooks died on March 16th after fighting a protracted battle with colorectal cancer. She was the cherished daughter of Lanny and Margie Brooks; loving sister of Tom and Hannah (Danny Sundali) Brooks; caring aunt of Morgan and Sarah; fond niece of Leslie (Allen) Luray and Joel Brooks (C.C. Pierce); treasured cousin of Jimmy (Jennifer), Charlie, and Sienna Oppenheimer; dear friend of Joel, Suzy (Steve Friedman), and Jerry Kogen. Samantha was a unique individual who brought joy to all that knew her. She was kind and good and saw only the kindness and goodness in others. Even as disease took over her body, her soul remained pure. She touched everyone's heart and made everyone's life better. It was an honor to be close to her and she will be deeply missed. Samantha passed surrounded by her family. May she rest in peace and may her memory be a blessing. Private family services will be held in Ketchum, Idaho.
