He was well known as an incredibly gifted watchmaker, who exhibited an intricate attention to detail, and the ability to learn new content quickly. He had a love for examining how all things work. Samuil greatly enjoyed tinkering, collecting gadgets, watching Sci-Fi / action films, and studying science and astronomy. It seems his love for space was mutual, as the heavens kindly bestowed a Solar Eclipse and comet in his honor of the day he departed for his next big adventure. Despite the adversity he faced in the later years of his life, Samuil continuously displayed his resolve and willingness to persevere.
Samuil is survived by his dear friend and mother of his children, Victoria Glezer; his loving children; daughter, Yuliana (Phil) Koelig; and son, Daniel (Jessica) Glezer. He was a proud grandfather to Olivia Glezer, Naomi Glezer, Jack Koelig, and Lily Koelig. Beloved sibling of sister, Maya (Alex) Gavi. Caring uncle of Natalie (Ryan) Gavi and Terry (Sabina) Gavi. Samuil was loved greatly and will be missed terribly by many friends and family.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 10, 10:00 AM at Weinstein & Piser Funeral Home, 111 Skokie Blvd, Wilmette, IL. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery.
