The title Sherry cherished most was Grammy and Nana. Nothing brought her greater pride or joy than her four grandchildren, Sam, Corey, Ari, and Gabi. They were the light of her life and the center of her world.
Sherry passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of the family she devoted her life to.
Sherry is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, Larry Guthman; her loving sons, Lee (Michelle) Guthman and Eric (Rebecca) Guthman; her treasured grandchildren, Sam, Corey, Ari, and Gabi; her sister, Janet (Robert) Reed; and her brother, Robert (Caren) Neiman.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Seymour and Charlotte Neiman. Sherry shared an extraordinary bond with her mother, Charlotte. Their relationship was rooted in unconditional love, unwavering support, and a friendship that remained one of the greatest blessings of Sherry's life. The love they shared became the example Sherry carried into her own family.
To know Sherry was to know someone who put family above everything else. She celebrated every milestone, remembered every birthday, cheered every accomplishment, and made everyone around her feel loved, welcomed, and important. Her warmth, generosity, strength, and selflessness touched every life she encountered.
Though our hearts are broken, we are forever grateful for the memories Sherry gave us and the example she set. We will miss her smile, her laugh, her comforting embrace, and the unconditional love she shared so effortlessly.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to Saving Tiny Hearts Society, a cause that was close to Sherry's heart for more than 20 years. Donations may be made at https://savingtinyhearts.org/donate/.
As Sherry would always say,
"Love you most!"
