Sonya "Sunnie" Harris, age 93, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2023 at her home in Deerfield surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Arnold Harris of 69 years. She is survived by her son Alan, and her many nieces and nephews. She will be remembered for her kindness and compassion, her sense of humor and her love of butterflies. She was always seen with a butterfly pinned to her left shoulder.
A graveside service for Sonya will be held Monday, October 9th, 2023, 11:00 AM at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 West Rand Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
