Susanne H. Zinder (nee Wolf) was born on February 24, 1934 in Poland. She was raised by her grandmother and then by her aunt and uncle (Schreer family) in Lodz, Poland. After WWI, Susanne lived in Germany. She later met Larry while he was stationed in Europe. They married in 1956 and moved to back to Chicago. Susanne had a successful career in retail at the Pompian Shop on Oak Street. She adored all animals, especially her cats Mushie Mouse, Chloe and Charlie. Susanne was the beloved wife of the late Lawrence A. Zinder, fond sister-in-law of the late Dr. Julian and Faye Zinder, cherished aunt of David and Seth (Nancy) Zinder, and loving great-aunt of Sophie and Gabriel. Susanne passed away peacefully on January 6, 2021 at her home.
