Valentina Lemesheva, 86, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away on January 10, 2026. She was born on December 20, 1939, in Birakan, Russia, to Konstantin Korzh and Fekla Grinberg. She immigrated with her family to the United States in 1990.
Valentina was independent, loving, energetic, and full of life. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who deeply cherished her family.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Vera Lemeshev; her granddaughter, Julia (David) Grycz; her grandsons, Ethan and Benjamin; and her sister, Larisa Zhuravskaya of Belarus. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mikhail Lemeshev; her son, Glenn Lemeshev; and her parents.
Valentina will be remembered for her strength, warmth, and enduring love.
