I just found out about Vic's recent passing from Larry Chaness this morning.  I liked Vic alot.  Knowing your family literally for all of my life being a neighborhood friend and schoolmate of Kenny's, I got to experience Vic in times of vitality and in times when he was less vital. Vic always had a great charisma and spunk. That and his quality to be a real person without airs define my memory of Vic. My sympathies to Berdie, Kenny , Bruce and your entire family for your loss. I will miss this unforgettible character.  Like my own father, Vic was a good guy, and the world needs more role models like them to know and learn from.

Although I only had the pleasure of a brief introduction and a short conversation, I could see the quick smile and the great sense of humor Mr. Sutchar possessed. His heart was golden and his spirit was of the kindest nature. His passing is truely a loss to family, friends and mankind. Bless those who grieve and know he is at peace.

To Kenny, Berde, Bruce and all the Sutchar family: I hope your grief will be short-lived and your memories will be long lived. Thinking of you at this time....

My deepest sympathy to Vic Sutchar's family & friends.  I 1st met Vic while working at the IRS EP - EO Division & we  worked in the same group for many years until he retired. I remember Vic getting called out by a fraction @ first base by me & later telling him that it was so close that I could have been wrong.  He stated, he was happy with that as long as I admitted an error might have been made.  We had a good laugh.   
Well, I could write so much but, this is what I remember most.  He loved his wife & family. He was full of energy, you could hear him whistleing a tune or talking sports.  He was a kind man who volunteered at The Lincoln Park Zoo ( where my family had the pleasure of meeting him) after he retired.
This is just a little of what I remember most about Vic Sutchar.  He will be missed but, not forgotten.  I believe he has gone on to a better place.
