Warren Bennett, 80, of Rye, NH, formerly of Chicago. Beloved husband of the late Claire Bennett. Devoted father of Lori Leonard and the late Edward Bennett. Cherished grandfather of Hannah and Emet Leonard. Loving brother of the late Barry (late Evie) Bennett and Charlene Parker. Caring uncle of Wendy, Ralph, and the late Steve Parker and great-uncle of Charlotte. Warren graduated from Purdue University as a pharmacist. When Claire passed away, he retired and moved to Florida for 20 years. Always positive, he enjoyed golf, tennis, softball, vacations, and time with his family and friends. One of his friends said "the quality of a man is what people think of him." Everyone thought the best of Warren. He was a loving, generous and kind man who took care of others. Graveside services will be held January 4th, 10:30 am at Oakridge Jewish Cemetery, 4301 Roosevelt Rd. Hillside, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or to B'NAI B'RITH International.
