Wayne Provus

Wayne Barry Provus, 77, of Chicago, IL, passed away on November 7, 2022. Wayne attended New Trier High School, and The Hun School in Princeton, NJ. Wayne had a long and award winning, point of purchase sales career in the corrugated packaging industry. He worked as a dedicated employee of Pride Container and Senior Vice President at The Royal Group. Wayne is survived by his loving wife, Gerri; sons, Jon (Abby) Provus, Cory (Dana) Provus, and Jordan Blatt and sisters-in-law Kay and Debra Provus and Janice (Jeff) Lev. Wayne is preceded in death by his parents Dorothy & Bertram Provus and brothers Stanley and Dr. Richard Provus. Wayne was a loving uncle to Jason (Lindsey) Provus, Lauren (Jason) Marks, Wendy Lev and Dara (Scott) Hessell, and cherished his grandchildren, Miles, Asher, Cooper and Mia Provus, and Zachary Auld. Wayne will be dearly missed by his extended family and friends. Throughout his life, he loved his dogs Gumball, Muffin, Ginger & Toi immensely. Funeral services will take place Tuesday, November 15, 10 AM at Weinstein and Piser Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Zion Gardens Cemetery. Shiva will take place at 3438 Summit Ave, Highland Park, following interment until 8PM. Those who are parking on Summit Ave, please park on the West side of the street.
