Cirilo Razo Jr. was born in Bayard, Nebraska on Dec. 24, 1952 to Cirilo Razo Sr. and Mary Sanchez Razo. Coming from a poor but loving family of 13 children, he knew the importance of hard work, since he worked in the fields since he was in 3rd grade. After his graduation from Pueblo County High School in Colorado, he came to California where he met his lifelong wife Kim Amador. They were married in 1974 and were together and married 52 years. He left his wife, 3 children, Cirilo III, James, and Mary, 3 grandchildren, Sylviana, Cirilo IV and Samuel and 1 great grandson, Mateo. Starting off as a welder, he continued his welding skills at Cerritos College and eventually became a maintenance foreman at Marathon Refinery until he retired.
He began taking his family to Harbor Christian Center in Wilmington, CA in 1979 and had been a faithful servant and board member there until his passing on Thursday , March 26, 2026.
His pride and joy was his family. Cirilo was loved and respected by everyone that knew him. He didn’t have to tell people what to do, he led by example. Showing unconditional love, forgiveness, never holding a grudge toward anyone. We will truly miss this great man of God.
