Elsie Beedle Velasco, a beloved and compassionate individual, passed away on January 8, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on October 28, 1934, in the Philippines, Elsie was known for her devoted, generous, and selfless nature.
Elsie resided in Carson, California, where she was a cherished member of her community. She is survived by her son, Brian Velasco, her daughter-in-law, Bridgidtte Velasco and her granddaughter, who will continue to honor her memory.
A visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Wilmington, located at 1640 N. Avalon Blvd., Wilmington, CA 90744, on January 30, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm. A funeral mass will take place at St. Philomena Church, 21900 Main St., Carson, CA 90745, on January 31, 2026, at 10:00 am. Following the mass, a burial service will be held at Green Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.
Elsie's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her legacy of kindness and generosity will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
