

Ignacio " Nacho" Herrera, passed away on June 22, 2026. He will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who knew him, a beloved presence whose life touched others in meaningful ways.
Nacho is survived by his three children, Jesus, Jasmine, and Connie, and his three beloved grandchildren, Persephone, Allison, and Xavier. He was the foundation of our family, serving as both a father and a mother to his children with unwavering love and strength.
A devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle, godfather, and friend, Nacho touched countless lives through his kindness, generosity, and selfless spirit. His contagious energy, sense of humor, and unforgettable dance moves brought joy to everyone around him.
He found his greatest happiness spending time with his grandchildren, cheering on the Dodgers, listening to music, caring for his cats, and being surrounded by the people he loved. He will be remembered for his big heart, his generosity, and the love he shared with everyone around him.
His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.”
Viewing will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Wilmington, 1640 N. Avalon Blvd, Wilmington, CA 90744, on July 15, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 am (next day).
A Religious Ceremony will take place at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1011 E. L St., Wilmington CA 90744, on July 16, 2026, from 10:00 am
Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial, 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275, on July 16, 2026, from 11:30 am
Reception to follow at Longshoremen Hall 231 W. C St., Wilmington CA 90744
In honor of Ignacio's remembrance we kindly ask that you celebrate his life by wearing blue. Dodger Blue or your favorite Dodger gear instead of traditional black attire.
