Javier Chavez Vasquez

Javier was a beloved son to his parents Maria Gualalupe and J. Jesus Chavez Vazquez and brother to Eva, Carmelo, Adan, Teresa, Alfredo, Ofelia, Elena, and Robert Chavez.

Javier was married to Raquel Gutierrez and from that union his first daughter Yesenia was born.

In his relationship with Rosa four other children were born, Lupita, Maria, Juan, and Javier.

Javier was also a proud grandfather.

From an early age Javi as his friends and family called him, was educated by his father to harvest and cultivate crops. Every year he learned to cultivate better and better crops due to his skill in working the land. There the love of growing fruits, vegetables and spices began. Being one of the oldest of the family, he always helped to provide for his siblings. It was easy for Javi to make friends with everyone who met him. He always had a good sense of humor. Javi, was an avid fisherman and hunter. Most of us had the privilege of eating “deer meat” and fish. Javier was also a master furniture maker as that was his profession most of his career and he enjoyed his work.

Javi was an exceptional son, brother and friend, always giving his best and ready to lend a hand. Javi passed away August 8, 2021, at the age of 65, surrounded by his family. Javier’s departure is a great loss to all who knew him especially to his family. Javi, rest in peace you will forever be in our hearts.

Javier Chavez Vazquez era residente de Fresno CA. y fue residente de Wilmington CA por muchos años. Javier nació el 27 de febrero de 1956 en Teocuitatlan, Guadalajara, México.

Javier era el hijo amado de sus padres María Gualalupe y J. Jesús Chavez Vazquez y hermano de Eva, Carmelo, Adán, Teresa, Alfredo, Ofelia, Elena y Robert Chavez.

Javier estuvo casado con Raquel Gutiérrez y de esa unión nació su primer hija Yesenia.

En su relación con Rosa nacieron cuatro hijos más, Lupita, María, Juan y Javier.

Javier también era un abuelo orgulloso.

Desde muy pequeño Javi, como lo llamaban sus amigos y familiares, fue educado por su padre para cosechar y cultivar la tierra. Cada año aprendió a cultivar cada vez mejores cultivos debido a su habilidad para trabajar la tierra. Allí comenzó el amor por el cultivo de frutas, verduras y especias. Siendo uno de los mayores de la familia, siempre ayudó a mantener a sus hermanos. Para Javi fue fácil hacerse amigo de todo el mundo. Siempre tuvo buen sentido del humor. Javi, era un ávido pescador y cazador. La mayoría de nosotros tuvimos el privilegio de comer "carne de venado" y pescado. Javier también fue un maestro fabricante de muebles, ya que esa fue su profesión durante la mayor parte de su carrera y disfrutó de su trabajo.

Javi fue un hijo, hermano y amigo excepcional, siempre dando lo mejor de sí y dispuesto a echar una mano. Javi falleció el 8 de agosto de 2021, a los 65 años de edad, rodeado de su familia. La partida de Javier es una gran pérdida para todos los que lo conocieron, especialmente para su familia. Javi, descansa en paz siempre estarás en nuestro corazón.
