Jimmy Ortega, age 59, after a lengthy illness passed away on October 18, 2012. He was born on April 9, 1953 in Harbor City, CA. Jimmy is survived by his mother Josephine Zamacona, sisters Irene Diaz, Gloria (Manuel) Quintana, special friend Linda, two aunts, many nephews nieces, cousins and many lifelong friends. Jimmy was a true Angels Baseball fan. He especially enjoyed sharing a pizza with his mother while watching old cowboy movies on TV.
Services will take place on Tuesday, October 30th 2012 at Funeraria del Angel McNerney's Mortuary, 1640 N. Avalon Blvd. in Wilmington, CA
Viewing will be at 9:00am followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 am.
A reception for family and friends will follow immediately after service at the VFW Hall at 1130 W. Anaheim St. in Wilmington, CA.
