Manuel "Chief" Garcia, Jr. was born on August 6, 1956 to Manuel Garcia & Mary Calderon in Torrance, CA; with his family by his side, Chief, peacefully went to the Lord on June 11, 2017 in Bellflower, CA. Predeceased by his parents, he is survived by his daughters: Ambrosia Garcia & Lauren Garcia, his siblings: Candy (Javier) Garcia Vigil, Vincent (Susan) Garcia, Lola Alvitre, Joe Garcia, Paul Garcia & Olivia Garcia Araujo, & step-sister: Linda Esparza. He leaves his legacy on this earth through his granddaughter: Jaela Hernandez. Manuel is also survived by his former spouse: Rozanne Garcia, step-son: Christopher Hernandez, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles & cousins. The Voice of the Pilots for 25 years, he will forever be heard on the Banning Football Field at all the home games. "Once A Pilot Always A Pilot".
