Although your time was short here on this earth, you left behind so many beautiful memories. You touched the hearts of many, and you gave selflessly when it mattered most. I want you to know that you did the right thing when you gave me to my adoptive parents. Because of their love for you and their love for Christ, they were strong enough to love me through my pain, my struggles, and my addiction. You didn't know when you gave me to them, that you were giving me the gift of life, twice. You brought me into this world, and they brought me through it, to where I am today with their faith, love, and perseverance. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Mom. I love you.

Marie, it's so hard to believe you are really gone. I truly miss you. When I returned from Florida last Sunday, you were in the forefront of my mind. I wish we had had more time together. I'm still expecting to see you coming up the street. Life is a bit harder without you...but God called you home and He makes no mistakes! I will always miss you friend!!!

MY NANA

Words seem inadequate.  Uncle Lindell said it best... He said all the "soons" can't happen now.  Somewhere in our minds was the idea that we would actually see you again.  You'd come our way soon for a visit.  Or we would come yours.  Seeing you again was just going to happen at some point.  All the "soons" are gone.  I grieve for those, and for you .  We all love you.

I met Marie for the first time at Free Indeed, Calvary Chapel South Bay. She was one of the very first ladies to approach me. I knew right away her love for the Lord. I respected her. She was one of the most selfless people I knew. Even in the midst of her difficulties she always managed to put her needs aside to help others.
In 2007, I came down with an illness that left me crippled, bed and wheelchair bound. She offered to come in and help me with housecleaning. She introduced me to Heather and she was extremely devoted to coming over and helping me. When other responsibilties came up, Marie stepped in. I remember being so worried about her since I knew of her back problems. She always told me she was fine. We grew very close over the years. She shared her struggles and her fears. We could identify in so many ways.  I enjoyed spending time having lunch together, just the two of us. I never saw her as a quitter even at her worst she was fighting to get better.

It broke my heart when I saw her last year in July, 2011. While all of us girlfriends had lunch together, we said our goodbyes, we cried and she asked me not to leave. I didnt know that would be the last time I would see her. I am confident that Marie never doubted how much I loved her. She will be forever missed by myself and family.

Marie, it's sad to hear that you have graduated early.  Yolanda and I were heart broken when we heard you changed your citizenship.  We will always remember your genuine love for Jesus Christ and the good times at "Freed Indeed."  We'll meet again in heaven.  Love Maa & Yoland Vili.

Joe & Charlotte, Heather, Josh & Brian - It is a privilege to be a part of your family.  Thank you for giving us Marie.  She is residing in her permanent home in Heaven.  You WILL see her there!

Marie, Marlene, Kathleen and Larry will miss you dearly, your genuine heart and your great smile will be embedded in our live until we see you in heaven. We will remember the times we all shared at the Free Indeed Ministry, the studies, the potlucks, the prayers, you will be missed! Thank you for the times you prayed for our family. Thank you for always praying and helping our friends. You were a delight to know and we know you touched alot of people. For now, the struggles we shared are all gone now for you. I miss you so much Marie! You touched in so many ways, not only my life but my daughter's life. Your spot in the corner of the couch seems so empty. You're smile and spirit was one that ALWAYS lit up the room whenever you walked in! You're flying with the Angels now (i'm sure right along side of my Aunt Loretta...give her a big hug from me)One day we will once again meet and we will fly together! <3 Joann

I first met Marie at Free Indeed. She is the first person that came and intrduced herself to me. I was not a member at Calvary and a friend had told me about Free Indeed. Marie and I talked and she gave me her phone number. She said if she don't answer leave a message or call back. The 3 years I attended, we talked about our kids and her grandkids. She showed me the compassion I needed in my life at that time and I am FOREVER grateful. I beleive in my heart she was a messenger from GOD to help get me through a tough time in my life. I will always rememeber Marie and her family will always be in my prayers. May her smile fill your life as it did mine. Thank-you for blessing me with a ANGEL.

It's very unfortunate that I didn't get to meet this sister in Christ, even though we both went to Free Indeed. My prayers go out to her family and friends, but we should try and remember where she is right now! She is up there with our Lord and Savior and I'm sure she is in peace. We will all someday see her, glorified! Until then, I know she will be missed!

Marie was and is was of the most beautiful women that my wife and I have ever known. Her giant Jesus smile will forever be in our memory. It was a privilege and an honor to pray for her, to love her and to call her friend. We'll see you there my sister!

I'm glad I got to know you Marie....Because I know I will see you again in heaven and we will both be smiling and praising our heavenly father together and rejoicing in our eternal life........

We are thankful to have known Marie.  We met her at Carson Bible Church and she became a big part of the Home Bible Study group in our home.  She also helped with the children in Children's Church.  Thru her we had the joy of getting to know her much loved grandson, David, who attended our class.

We will surely miss Marie very much.  She had a true faith in our Lord Jesus Christ who accepts all of His "born again" children as perfect in His sight due to His death on the cross.

As your sister in law we have spent many years together some good and some bad but is a good that I will remember. It hurts my heart that your gone, but I know your in heaven. Give everyone in heaven a hug for me.

I love you and I will always miss you. You were always there for me as a child and I still remember all those times we set around and played word games. It was something special only we shared. I really hate that my children will never have the privledge I had of knowing you but I will always tell them how much you still loved them and how much you loved their mom. You will be greatly missed.

Heather, Joshua and Joe: We are so sorry for your loss. Marie was the most special person to us. She gave us the greatest give a person can give: our son, Brian. I am Marie's aunt Merrie. I was 7 when Marie was born. I remember that very well. she was a beautiful baby! During my jr ans sr high summers I came and stayed at the Morphew home and helped take care of he kids and enjoyed the family times that we all shared. Many good memories! I hadn't seen you in many years,but loved you very much. I'm so glad we had those phone conversations over the last few years and of course, Facebook has been great to keep in touch. Spread your wings and fly! Love.

  I am deeply sadden by the news of the passing of Marie, my sister in Christ & my very Dear Friend. At the same time I'm encouraged by her love of Jesus, knowing she will spend all eternity in his presence and therefor we will be together again. We have had alot of great times together and most of all the wonderful memories we share. From going to church as kids and church camp that Nonie and Papa use to take us to.
