Saili Malufau

Saili Malufau, was called to the Lord at the age of 63 years in Wilmington, CA. He was born on August 12, 1954 in Faleniu, American Samoa to Mulimauga Malufau and Manila Tuuga. From Samoa to Laie, Hawaii is where he was raised, in 1970 Saili and his parents moved to California. In 1973 he met his wife Gail. They married in 1975 and in 1976 they had their first daughter, Stacey. Throughout the 1980's & 1990's he worked in the construction field. On his down time, he enjoyed relaxing, while listening to his music, and drinking a cold beer. He was a good provider for his family and always embedded in them how important family is. He enjoyed taking the family to the beach in San Pedro, where he would jump in the water with only shorts, goggles and a bag. When he would come up from the water, he would have sea urchins and abalone.

In 2008 he turned a new leaf in life and stopped drinking, since then, he spent most of his time with his family enjoying life.
