Victor Raymond Yslas was born in San Pedro, California, on November 2, 1955. He lived a life defined by love, dedication, and family. Victor graduated from Banning High School in Wilmington, CA, in 1973 and proudly served his country by joining the U.S. Army in 1980.
After his military service, Victor built a long and successful career working in the Wilmington refineries, ultimately concluding his career at the same refinery where his grandfather once worked—a testament to his strong roots and commitment to hard work.
Victor was a devoted husband to Frances Yslas, his loving wife for 42 years. Together, they raised five children: Victor Rey (Marlene), Victor Manuel, Victor Noel (Jannelle), Victor Nicholas (Victoria) and Victoria (Nate).
He was also a proud grandfather to twelve grandchildren: Rey, Ari, Bella, Olivia, Sophia, Isaac, Aaron, Victoria, Mila, Noah, Ezekiel, and Ezra.
Victor is survived by his mother, Elvira, and two sisters, Nina and Gina and was preceded in death by his father, Victor Manuel Yslas.
His life was marked by kindness, loyalty, and an unwavering devotion to family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
