Andrew James Wilson

Born May 2, 1938, in Columbia, South Carolina, to Preston James Wilson and Valeria Martin Wilson.  Andrew was a graduate of Eau Clare High School.

Andrew married Mildred Ann Haas May 31, 1957.  He worked for the Ford Tractor Distributor in Charlotte, North Carolina until it was bought out by Ford Motor Company and was transferred to Richmond, Virginia. He later became the Parts Manager for Stevenson Tractor, in Chesapeake, Virginia, where he remained until he retired.

Jim truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, spending time with family and friends, traveling, and camping the State Parks of Virginia and private parks in North Carolina with his wife and their dogs.  After retirement, they moved to Holly Ridge, North Carolina and enjoyed a permanent “Camping lifestyle.”

Jim is survived by his wife, Millie, his three children; Tim, Terri, and Kristi; his eight Grand Children and five Great Grand Children.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018. At 2 PM at Virginia Creek Campground, in Hampstead, North Carolina, with Pastor John Strickland officiating.
