

Ann lived a life defined by faith, perseverance, kindness, and devotion to those she loved. She touched the lives of many through her caring spirit, warm heart, and unwavering dedication to her family and community.
In her early career, Ann served as a secretary for WECT Television, where she also hosted the beloved "Saturday Morning Sunday School" television program. Following the death of her husband, she demonstrated remarkable determination by enrolling at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW), where she earned her teaching degree. She went on to spend many years as an elementary school teacher at College Park Elementary School, inspiring and educating countless young students throughout her career.
Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dallas Deleon Mills; her mother, Ena Doreen Register; her father, Leslie Roy Dunsford; her brother, John Colin Register; and her great-grandson, Mark Roy Mills.
She is survived by her children, Greg Mills, Keith Mills, Kelly Mills, and Karen Noviki, who were the pride and joy of her life. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose guidance, wisdom, and compassion will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Ann will be remembered for her gentle nature, strong faith, dedication to education, and the lasting impact she made on the lives of her family, friends, colleagues, students, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Though she is no longer with us in body, her memory will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Masonboro Baptist Church on Thursday, August 27, at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate Ann's remarkable life.
In lieu of flowers, Ann requested that memorial donations be made to the Masonboro Baptist Church Cemetery Committee.
