

She was born on May 9, 1930 in Northern Cambria, PA to the late Antonio Pavelko and Suzanna Semyan Pavelko.
Anne was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church where she was an usher and greeter. She also was a member of the Wilmington Board of Realtors and Salvation Army Auxiliary along with being on the Comfort Committee for many years, serving food for funerals, weddings, etc.
She was a professional Realtor for 17 years, working at Buffkin Realty, Century 21 David Sweyer and Associates and Intracoastal Realty. She was a gourmet cook since a young age and loved to entertain and have parties. Anne had a very infectious smile and great sense of humor and she traveled with her husband, Simon, in their RV all over the USA.
In addition to her parents, Anne was preceded in death by her husband, Simon Oliver of Wilmington, NC, two sons, Gary Oliver of West Palm Beach, FL and Michael Oliver of Gaithersburg, MD; a granddaughter, Chelsea Nicole Macon of Wilmington, NC; a sister, Helen Burns of Orlando, FL; many brothers, Joseph Pavelko of Northern Cambria, PA, Frank Pavelko of Northern Cambria, PA, Tony Pavelko of Milton, DE, Steve Pavelko of Johnstown, PA, Cyril “Sid” Pavelko of Northern Cambria, PA and Edward Pavelko of Rehoboth Beach, DE.
Survivors include her daughter, Marcia Oliver Hart and husband, James Leland Hart of Wilmington, NC; step-son, Christopher Oliver and wife, Leslie of Oak Island, NC; grandchildren, Brandi Macon and partner Zachary Burkholder of Wilmington, NC, Danielle Sulva and husband, Marcus Sulva of Wilmington, NC; adopted granddaughter, Abigail Sommer of St. Paul MN, Steven and Suzanne Oliver of Ormond Beach, FL, Amy Oliver Cronin of St. John’s , FL and Michael and Jodi Oliver of Debary, FL and several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Drahnak of Hastings, PA and Margaret Jones of Deckerville, MI and a special niece, Maureen Jones Higgins of Burgaw, NC; dear friends, Lannie Kirby of Wilmington, NC and Louise Colvert of Carolina Beach, NC; A special caregiver, Lynn Pender of Rocky Point, NC and special second cousin, Kathleen Eagle of Wilmington, NC.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 9, at 1:30pm, at St. Mark Catholic Church, 1013 Eastwood Rd., Wilmington, NC 28403.
In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to St. Mark Catholic Church.
