Anne Elizabeth Torres

She was born in Wakefield, RI on October 27, 1969, daughter of Richard and Barbara Huntwork. Including her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Richard Huntwork.

Anne received her Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Rhode Island. She later continued her father’s legacy by becoming part-owner of Greenwich Bay, a soap company her father founded. Anne loved playing tennis, her competitive spirit gravitated her to other outdoor activities such as hiking, biking and swimming but what she loved most was spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Heather Torres; son, Samuel Torres; brother, Ted Huntwork; niece, Kyien Ribeiro; nephew, Connor Huntwork; niece, Alana Huntwork and nephew, Broderick Huntwork.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Saturday July 25, 2026 at Coble Funeral and Cremation Service 1155 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28412.

A Celebration of Life Service will start at 2:00pm in the Coble Chapel with Pastor Pete Mata officiating.
