Annie was a southern belle. She loved living on the East Coast and enjoying calabash seafood. Annie loved attending her church on Sundays and singing old church hymns. She loved making homemade biscuits for her grandchildren and cooking meals for her family. Annie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend to many. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
Annie was preceded in death by her late husband Randolph Evans; parents Richard G and Letha B Causey and brothers Willie Lee, Offie, Wallace, George K., Richard R., Doc Earl, and her sister Mary L Martin.
She is survived by her three daughters: Anna Robles of Jacksonville, NC, Carol Gauta and her husband Gauta Gauta of Ocean Isle Beach, NC, Sonja Rojas of Clemmons, NC and her two sons Greg Evans of Wilmington, NC and Terry Evans and his wife Joanna of Wilmington, NC. Her grandchildren: Gabriel, Leilani, Penina, Marisa, Miranda, and Spencer. Her great grandchild: River. Her sister Magelene Cribb of Ash, NC and her brother John M. Causey of Wake Forest, NC and her many loving nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Annie will be held Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Coble Funeral and Cremation Service at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1155 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, North Carolina 28412.
A funeral service will occur Friday, January 7, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Coble Funeral and Cremation Service at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
