Annie L. Hatcher
March 22, 1927 – February 22, 2013
Annie Lee Soles Hatcher, 85, of Wilmington, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 22, 2013. Mrs. Hatcher was born March 22, 1927, to the late Benjamin M. and Allie Lee Nobles Soles. She was also predeceased by her son J.R. Hatcher.
Annie is survived by her son; Edwin Hatcher, daughter; Jean Rusmisell and husband Dale, brother; L.C. Soles and wife Doris, 5 grandchildren; Melissa and husband Kevin, Richard and wife Jennifer, Heather and husband Tyler, Austin, and Sierra, and 5 great grandchildren; Alexx, Elizabeth, Sara, Ava, and Riley.
Annie was lovingly known by many as Nanny. Her faith was obvious by her dedication to her family and her church. She enjoyed traveling with her dear friend Ruby on shopping excursions, and was an avid gardener. She will be dearly missed.
The family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Monday, February 25, 2013 at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service in Wilmington. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Oleander Memorial Gardens.
