Annie Neilson was a treasure from God to have as a grandmother. She was the epitome of Love, Care and Selflessness. She was the rock of the family. She could always find the positive in any situation in life. “If you don’t have anything nice to say…” Annie read the Bible countless times and lived a life that glorified Jesus. Every card she wrote me in her beautiful handwriting she would end with “God Bless You”.

“And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them”. Rev 13:14 KJV.

Ann was a wonderful, caring, kind and positive person. She lived life to the fullness. I enjoyed walking with her when I made it to town. She will be truly missed. She is with the Lord now, may God comfort the survivors.

Annie sat in the front row of the Wesleyan Sunday School Class for as long as she could attend. I was one of the teachers at that time, and always enjoyed her warm, calm, friendly presence. When she had something to add, it was insightful , logical, and sometimes humorous. She made me smile, and was a woman of great faith. I will miss her, and am so honored to have known her.
