Arnold was born on March 22, 1946 in Southport, NC son of the late Luther and Mamie Porter.
Arnold owned and operated his dump truck business for almost 50 years. He loved the Lord and had a strong commitment to his faith and family.
Arnold is survived by his loving wife, Patsy H. Porter; daughter, Pamela Fairfax; sons, David Porter and Wesley Porter; grandchildren: Benjamin, Rachel, and Noah; great-great grandson, Dylan Bican; sister, Barbara Franks Allred; niece, Jennifer McCullom.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Coble Funeral and Cremation Service at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1155 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28412.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm with David and Benjamin Porter officiating on Saturday, September 11, 2021.
Memorial donations may be made to the Lower Cape Fear Lifecare Center.
