Arthur Doasher Reynolds

Arthur Doasher Reynolds, 87, of Wilmington, died Saturday, June 14, 2014, at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice. He was born September 26, 1926, in Brunswick County, to the late Stuart Reynolds and Ida Johnson Reynolds. Arthur proudly served in the US Army and was a veteran of WWII. He was preceded in death by his wife, Amelia Earhart Reynolds; son, Graham Stuart Reynolds; brothers, Hampton and Kellum Reynolds and sisters, Gladys McDowell and Molcie Bowling. Survivors include his daughter, Peggy Reynolds Raines and husband Michael; grandchildren, Wendy Royal and husband Chris, Stuart Reynolds and wife Amy, Jamie Pruess and husband Brian, Michael Raines and wife Lorretta, David Raines and wife Anna and Jennifer Addis and husband Brooks; great-grandchildren, Michael David and wife Lynzee, Conner, Brooke, Jenna, Alysha, Noah, Kaitlyn, Warren, Bryliegh, Josh, Nicholas, Zachary, Worth, Lila, Julia, Andrew and Morgan; daughter-in-law, Connie Reynolds and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2pm, Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel with Rev. Eugene Ridley officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice or Seaside Chapel building fund.
