Barbara Ann White Coleman

Barbara Ann White Coleman, of Wilmington died Saturday, September 17, 2011 at her home. She was born in Gillette, NC, February 25, 1937 the daughter of the late Edward Herman White and Trixie Fonville White. She was preceded in death by her husband and the love of her life, Robert ""Bob"" E. Coleman and her brother Edward B. White. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church where she and her husband were married on September 10, 1955. She devoted her entire life to her family and helping others. Her family always came first and she was known as ""Mimi"" to her grandsons and all of their friends. She loved her husband very much and where you saw him she was always by his side. She also loved her church family and had their love, support, and prayers. She is survived by her daughter Cathy Howell and husband Rick of Leland, NC her grandsons who she spoiled and adored, Matthew Julian Kinlaw and Edward Davis Kinlaw, her brother William ""Bill"" H. White and her special sister-in-law Phyllis White. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 PM at the church. The funeral service will be at 2 PM, Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Dr. Thomas Male officiating. Interment will follow in Sealawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be: Jay Kinlaw, Anthony Allen, Ted Carlton, Andy Long, Ken McIntire, Curtis Coleman, and A.C. Watson.
