Barbara Virginia Norris, 62, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, December 26, 2010. Barbara was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Ganey Norris, and is survived by her loving father, Bobby Van Norris, cousins; Dorothy Norris, Farris McKitrich and his wife Linda, and numerous other cousins, two uncles; David Ganey and wife Mildred, Floyd Ganey and Wife Vernie. Barbara was a devoted fan of Elvis Presley, and dearly loved her canine companion “Benji.” She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she has touched.
The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 PM, Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Coble Ward-Smith Oleander Chapel. A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 30, 2010 at King Memorial Gardens in Leland, NC.
