

Born on January 3, 1946, in Buffalo, New York, to Raymond Dwaileebe and Dorothy Laskowski, Deanie was raised in Olean, New York, and graduated from Olean High School in 1964. She later moved to Portville, New York, to raise her family before eventually residing in Leland, North Carolina.
On August 8, 1964, she married her beloved husband, Timothy Barton, at St. Joseph's Church in Olean, New York, embarking on a devoted 62-year marriage.
Throughout her life, Deanie was known for her dedication, having been employed at Cummings Cider Mill, United Parcel Service, and Fox Accounting. She found joy in the simple, meaningful pleasures of life, including playing cards, cross-stitching, puzzles, computer games, reading, traveling, and, most of all, spending time with her family. A woman of faith, she was a member of the Basilica of St. Mary in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Deanie was predeceased by her parents, her son Douglas Barton, and her brother Raymond "Buddy" Dwaileebe.
She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Timothy Barton; her daughters, Kimberly Pierce and husband Edwin, and Jenny Walters and husband Stephen; and her son Scott Barton and wife Peng. She also leaves behind her sister, Carol Donovan, and brother, Richard "Dicky" Dwaileebe.
She was the proud grandmother to 9 grandchildren: Seth Pierce, Zachary Pierce (Bethany), Nicholas Barton, Sean Barton (Fiancée Alexis), Isabella Barton, Marisa Villa (Alex), Ethan Walters (Evelyn), Carter Walters (Sarah), and Molly Walters.
Deanie was blessed with 7 great-grandchildren: Dwight and Elliott Peirce, Adelia, Luca and Flora Villa, and Joey and Violet Walters.
