Betty Jane Warner Parkerson

Betty Jane (Warner) Parkerson was taken from us too soon by an automobile accident in Wilmington, NC on Tuesday, July 8th 2014. She was born in Washington, Indiana on October 18th, 1943, being the 4th child of Donnas & Ruby Warner. She was predeceased by her sisters, Donna Arney and Carolyn Jonas and a brother, Larry Warner. Jane met the love of her life and Husband of 41 years, Sam Parkerson in Chapel Hill, NC at an intimate dinner party. Sam and Jane settled in Raleigh, NC., where she enjoyed a career as a Nurse. They retired to Wilmington, NC 12 years ago where she became very active and well known in the community. Jane was a beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend. She leaves behind her husband , Sam; daughter, Marye Hewett; son-in-law, William Hewett; Grandsons, Mason Stevens, Justin Huffman and Granddaughter, Rebecca Hewett of Wilmington as well as many others whose lives she touched that called her Grandma Jane. She is survived by her Brother, Jack Warner; Sister-in-Law, Kathy of Cosby, Tn; Niece, Beth Dyiezyk her Husband Vincent and their children Victoria & Kelley of Newport, Tn.
