Betty is survived by sons, David Alan Meeks and wife Sandra and James Earl Meeks ; sister, Ora Lee Simmons and husband Ralph; 2 grandchildren, David Keith Meeks and Paige Caroline Haire and 3 great grandchildren, Alyssa Brooke Meeks,David Tyler Meeks and Nathan Alexander Haire.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, November 25, 2016 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Services.
