

Billie Jean Watts, 72, of Wilmington, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2017, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice & LifeCareCenter.
Billie was born on November 9, 1945 in Shannon, North Carolina to William Curtis Waller and Celia Campbell Waller. Billie was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Watts, and her brothers, Jimmy Waller, Herman Waller, Rudolph Waller, and Randolph Waller.
She is survived by her daughters, Wendy Watts; Lisa Lovitt and husband, Kenneth; two grandsons, Timothy Lovitt and Michael Lovitt, all of Wilmington, NC; and a sister, Betty Davis of Fayetteville, NC; along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, and her beloved dogs, “Cooper” and “Wolf”.
Billie retired from K-Mart in 2015, after 43 years of dedicated service and made many long-lasting friendships during her time with the company.
She cherished the special times spent with her grandsons.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at Andrews Market Street Chapel.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at Greenlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Arnold Griffin officiating.
