Bonnie Johnson Mitchell

She was born in Burlington, NC  September 15, 1955 to Eunice Pauline Johnson and George W. Johnson

Bonnie Mitchell was a loving mother and wife who had many passions including but not limited to being a flight attendant and volunteer with the local Domestic Violence Shelter. Bonnie also loved pets and would have adopted any stray given enough room to house them.

Bonnie's most recent joy was being "BeBe" to her grandson born in 2015. Bonnies kindness and willingness to help others was contagious. Her smile and sweet southern tone will be

remembered by everyone she ever met.

Bonnie is survived by: Husband R. Edward Mitchell, daughter and son-in-law Paige Mitchell Garner and Greg Garner; stepson and daughter-in-law Mark and Kim Mitchell; grandchildren Barrett Mitchell Garner and Morgan and Brenden

Mitchell; sister Louise Strauss and brother and sister-in-law Pete and Elanor Johnson

 A graveside  service will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Oleander Memorial Gardens.

Memorial Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice and the local Humane Society.
