Brenda J. Jackson, 58,of Wilmington, died Friday, February 22, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Raleigh, NC, April 3, 1949, the daughter of the late Cleo and Dorothy Brewer Cummings. She enjoyed a 37-year career as a Registered Nurse She married Keith Jackson on July 12, 1970 and together they had two children and seven grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Keith, her daughter, Cindy McMains and husband John and their four children, David, Austin, Ashley and Amanda, her son Brian Jackson and his wife Stephanie and their three children, Brittany, Jordan, and Conner, also her brother Michael Cummings and his wife Cheryl and their children Chris and James. A memorial service will be held at 4 PM, Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at Andrews Valley Chapel, 4108 S. College Rd.
