She was born in Knoxville, TN on November 4, 1938, daughter of the late Ezekiel Harrison Williams, Sr. and Carrie Margaret Robbins Williams.
Surviving are her sons, John Timothy McCoy and wife Tamara of Suwanee, GA, and Matthew William McCoy and wife Lynn of Hampstead, NC; grandchildren, Jason Andrew McCoy, Jennifer Abby McCoy, Jonathan Aaron McCoy, Megan Elizabeth McCoy, Taylor Elizabeth McCoy, and Joshua William McCoy; and her brother Ezekiel “H” Williams and wife Joanne. Her husband, John William McCoy preceded her in death in 2008.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2017 at Sea Lawn Memorial Park, 17750 Highway 17 North, Hampstead, NC, 28443 (910-270-4602), with Pastor Bobby Owings officiating.
