Carolyn M. Page Carolyn Anne Meachum Page, 73, of Kure Beach, died Saturday, May 30, 2015, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Carolyn was born April 26, 1942 in Durham, NC, daughter of the late Leaton C. Meachum, Sr. and Mary Louise Herndon Meachum. Her brother, Donald Meachum, preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Donald Page; two daughters, Jennifer Page (Jim Rees) and Lisa Page, all of Carolina Beach, NC; granddaughter, Emma Page; two brothers, Leaton C. Meachum, Jr. (Faye), of Durham, NC, and Larry Meachum (Evelyn), of Kure Beach, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at Andrews Valley Chapel. Prior to the service, the family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until the service hour. In lieu of flowers, donations in Carolyn's memory may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.
