She was born on October 30, 1940 in Hoke County, NC to the late William and Gertrude Hair. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Henry Albert Sanders of Wilmington, brother, Lacy and sister, Beatrice.
Cathy is survived by her 3 children, Donna Pearson (husband, Wade), Albert Sanders, JR. (wife, Debbie) and David Sanders; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Cathy was a committed wife and grandmother who loved to cook, help out at Long Leaf Baptist Church and spend time with her family.
A visitation will be held from 6-8pm Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Andrews Valley Chapel. The funeral service will be held at 2pm, Friday, June 14, 2019 at Andrews Valley Chapel. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
