I remember Cecilia being in my life at a very early age. I remember going to the beach with her and eating baloney sandwiches while watching the waves come in! She would always make sure I had on a t-shirt because I was so fair and would burn easily (still do). Then she would come visit us at our house time to time. I always looked forward to those times because they were always exciting and fun. Tim was my sister's age but I loved Tim too. I still remember the day he went home to Jesus. Stephanie's beautiful wedding and reception downtown Wilmington is also a special memory to me when I think of Cecilia. They were both stunning that day and I can still see Cecilia's face as Stephanie walked down the staircase..glowing! I remember Cecilia and John taking my Grandma Suggs to see all the special places in DC on her first and only visit there! I also remember Cecilia driving all the way to Nakina to be there for my mom, me and our family when my Grandma Suggs died. She jumped out of the car and ran to us! When I think of Cecilia I remember a beautiful lady who laughed often and was always perfect with her hair and make up and had a awesome personality! Unfortunately I have not seen her for a long time and now wish I had been given the opportunity to had seen her one last time. I thank God for letting me know her and love her. My dad always thought the world of Cecilia too. I know they are talking a mile a minute in Heaven :) Until we meet again pretty lady! Love & prayers to Stephanie and her family during this time and hope to be able to make visitation tomorrow.

I sure am going to miss this wonderful lady that I have known pretty much all of my life! She was larger than life and so full of personality! I saw her last about two years ago, and thought that I would see her again but everyone is so busy and she decided to move before I got the chance. I wish I had found the time. We did talk a few times during that time though and I am glad we did. My children thought the world of her as well! My daughter Lynn couldn't say her name when she was little, so she called her "Cereal", and it stuck for life. What a beautiful lady, inside and out, that will be missed by so many of us!
Prayers and condolenes to each and every one of you as you go through this time of sorrow. I will not be able to attend Friday, as I have missed some work due to surgery this week, but know that I will be there in spirit. I will go by and say my goodby's Thursday evening. To Cecilia herself, I say that I will see you on the other side, and say Hello to Tim and Mrs. Smith for me.

I met Cecilia in the 70's, I was dating her son Tim at the time. Tim and I attended the same school, Wrightsboro Academy. One night at dinner, I also met her daughter Stephanie and her Mom, they were all nice and the meal was great. Cecilia worked downtown at JCPenney.
I would stop by and see her sometimes and we would shop during her lunchbreak. She was always a warm and friendly person, loved a good joke and a good laugh. I have not seen her in many years but thought about her many times...Sending prayers to the family..
