Charles Leroy "Chuck" Elliott, Jr.

Born November 11, 1939 in Portsmouth, NH he is a son of Charles Elliott, Sr. and Helen Norton Elliott. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Patsy Elliott in 2004.

Chuck is survived by his children, Douglas Elliott, Teresa Elliott and Michael L. Elliott, Sr. and his wife, Justine; his grandchildren, Christopher Elliott, Michael L. Elliott, Jr., Leanne Elliott, Reese Elliott and Rebekah Elliott; his step-mother, June Elliott; his late wife’s uncle, Kirby Sullivan; and 3 sisters and 1 brother.

Chuck served in the U.S. Marines. He spent most of his life as a mechanic in auto body repair.

Chuck was a kind, mild mannered man who never met a stranger and would give you the shirt off his back. He was also an animal lover – especially dogs, chickens and cats.

A funeral service will be held at 10 am Monday July 17, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Leland. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
