Charles C. Gray

Born June 15, 1930 in Clay County, KY, he is a son of the late Roscoe and Sarah Patterson Gray. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his three brothers and a sister.

Mr. Gray is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mary Elizabeth Gray; his son, Jerry Daniel Gray; his daughters, Dena Gray Simmons and her husband, Delane, and Donna Gray Putnam and her husband, Brady; his grandchildren, Ethan Simmons and his wife, Kelly, Becci Johnson and her husband, Brett, Brannon Gray, Ryan Putnam and his wife, Gabriela, and Christine Putnam; and his great grandchildren, Stella Johnson and Ayden Simmons.

Mr. Gray was proud to serve and retire as Chief BMC in the Coast Guard. He enjoyed lighthouses and maps. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Andrews Valley Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
