Charles Frank Pratt Sr.

He was born on July 14, 1921 in Omack, WA son of the late Charlie and Anna Pratt. In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded by death by his wife Lina Evelyn Pratt and his 2 sisters, Dorthy and Pearl, and one grandson, James.

He was a devoted member of the Primitive Baptist Church and loved the congregation dearly. Charles proudly served in the United States Army during WWII and enjoyed fishing, gardening, woodworking and was never too busy to lend a helping hand.

He is survived by his 3 sons, Charles F. Pratt Jr. and wife Sue, David L. Pratt and wife Darlene, Christopher E. Pratt and wife Debbie; and his 2 daughters, Anna P. Prince and her husband Aubrey “Buddy”, and Lina E. Pratt; grandchildren: Charles III, Jim, Eric, Sarah, Amanda, John, Rebekah, Stephanie, Sajj, Loren, Angela, Jonathan; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 12pm to 2pm on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service, 3915 Oleander Drive, Wilmington, NC 28403.

Funeral Service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service Chapel with Elder Gene Lupton officiating.

Interment will follow at Oleander Memorial Gardens, 306 Bradley Drive, Wilmington, NC 28409 with Military Honors provided by the American Legion Honor Guard Post 10.
